The location was about all I could say. The photos on the web are no where near what the place really is. The much older part of the place is not pictured, the "newer" part is not so new, they would not even put towels in the room. I called 3 times and had to walk in to the front office 2 times before I got any. The matress and box springs were not covered and something had been spilled on the them that had been there for some time. I truly think there were bed bugs for I got bitten by something that was not on my body till I got there. We left promptly the next morning and found us a top rate hotel which was the new hampton inn that was as clean as a whistle and had everything anyone could want for. They have a real eggs, omelets, gracy biscuits, cereal etc...and I just cant explain that I am 100% dissatisfied with the Smoky Shadows and will never go back unless there are major changes and have told everyone so far to never go there!!

This was the third time here. Unfriendly staff and a very dirty room.

Nothing!!!!!!!!! The best thing I liked was when we asked for a refund and left two hours after we checked in and discovered blood stains on the bedspread and the smell of urine in our bathroom. Filthy!!!

Horrible filthy nasty hotel!!!!! Cancel your reservation before it is too late!!! We arrived to find blood stains and "other bodily fluid" stains on our bedspread!!! The bathroom smelled of urine!!! The pool water was yellow with a nasty dark ring around the side of the pool. Trash everywhere!!! Words can not express how filthy this place is!!!! We asked for a refund and checked out two hours later after we discovered how bad this hotel really was!!! We checked into the Hampton Inn and paid $2 more!!! Please booking buddy...take this hotel off your list and report them!!!!

Nothing, it is nasty and im still having a problem with an extra night that was charged on my card, also I didnt get the room I booked, asked for balcony and got a side street with nasty bums outside of room, found needles to shoot up by creek,,,,,,,,,,,yuck I was afraid for my family.

Hated the whole place, it is nasty , nasty , nasty

    Location

Not clean - (a build up of dust and trash under each side of beds, dirty, shaby lobby. Advertised breakfast _ little dibbie cookies, coffee and not much else.I paid $88.00 per night through you and rooms for people checking in with reservations were $46.00 a night.

The hotel was not as it appeared online. The facility has seen it's better days. It was very disappointing, actually it was the worst part of our trip. Upon arrival we checked into our room only to find a roach crawling on the bed. After upgrading with additional money to the "newer" facility we found that it too was just as run down. The jacuzzi had a thick scum ring all around it. Again a roach was a topic of conversation among other guests by the elevator as it crawled up the wall. A very disappointing hotel.

Booked double queen room for $59 a night- confirmation letter said best price available. Got to motel big bill board advertising two queen $39 also rooms with with jacuzi for $47. they did up grade us to two king with jacuzie still charging the $59 - indoor pool was freezing

    location OK

Room smelled bad, carpet very old. Swimming area did not look clean, paint peeling on outside. We were not willing to stay here after looking at the property. No way we would let our grand children stay with us in this room. The property is run down. We left after looking the place over. Drove back to Chattanooga rather than spend the nite.

False advertising. The room we were put in was a old building nothing like the add showed . We will not go back. There was a nice building there, but I don't know if any one was staying in that building.

The private balcony and the hot tub in room

Thin towels and not enough of them. Room was not very detailed clean. Vacuum in corners etc. Really they need new towels!

    The balcony was nice...

I stayed there during labor day weekend with my family...there was 4 that stayed,, we had 3 bath towels, no hand towels or wash cloths..I had to go get towels from the lobby,,,,the sheets had cigarette burn holes on them....not enough pillows for a king size bed...I found a dirty hair bow under the coffee pot., it did not belong to anyone staying with me,,you could tell the sink had not been cleaned ....I payed more than what was advertised on booking....It was adv. for 7$78.00, I had to pay $122.00...will never stay there again,, never!!!

Nothing dirty price not worth what we paid!

    Nothing dirty!

The proximity to the Smoky Mntns National Park.

The charges for room with taxes ($90/night) were too high for the poor and shabby establishment like this. I have no complain about the staff and Wifi and complimentary breakfast were a part of the room charges but breakfast offered was horrible (hardly anything), the microwave in breakfast room was dirty and no service staff was available in the breakfast room. I would not have complained if the room charges were around $45...then you know what you get what you pay for but for almost $100/night I felt fleeced.

Nothing , it was not clean , carpet nasty , beds had blood stains on sheets & mattresses..... Would never recommend this hotel to anyone didn't even have a tissue holder & the smell was terrible . Had to buy Lysol to spray room to tolerate it! Not sanitary for a toddler !!!

I won't be returning to this motel, the room had an iron burn in the carpet, clothing stickers on the picture frame above 1 bed, the knobs on the jacuzzi were loose and kept coming off, the room door across the hall from our room was propped open and the smell coming from it was horrible, some of the door knobs were very loose.
